Algebra - Period 5/6, 7

The importance of Mathematics for potential future careers cannot be over emphasized. My goal is to prepare your child for the future by developing your child’s understanding and enjoyment of Algebra. The MA-27 Curriculum includes the study of functions, statistical models, linear equations and inequalities, systems of linear equations and inequalities, relationships that are not linear, polynomials, and quadratics. This is an advanced course and will move at a much more rapid pace than a standard math class.

Your child will be completing homework on a daily basis, quizzes and tests every one to two weeks, as well as, group projects.  I will do my best to help your child be successful in class. In turn, I expect your child to be an active and willing participant in the learning process.

Math is a participation sport! I encourage you to stay active in the learning process as well. Please feel free to contact me by phone or email if you have any questions about the class, materials, homework, or any concerns. I will do my best to make myself available to you.
