I received my Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science, Business Law, and Spanish from Central Michigan University in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan.  I have taught as a substitute teacher from 2003 - 2008, teaching all grades at many different schools in Michigan.  In 2008 I received my Master of Arts Degree in Comparative Religion from Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Michigan.  I taught undergraduate university courses as a part-time instructor during my time there and also worked as a teacher's assistant for my thesis adviser.  After graduation, I started teaching on-line courses in the Humanities for the University of Phoenix.

In 2014 my family and I moved to Arizona, at first teaching MOID, and now teaching 7th grade Resource English Language Arts at Stapley Junior High.  I enjoy everything about Arizona but I especially love my junior high students!
