I am so happy to be serving both Jefferson and Stevenson Elementary School!

My schedule is:

Jefferson School  - Monday, Thursday, payday Wednesday.  472-8704

Stevenson School  - Tuesday, Friday and non-payday Wednesday.   472-9030

Biography

I graduated from the University of Michigan in 1974.  My husband and I moved to Seattle for 5 years and then to Arizona.  For the first 20 years I have been a nurse, I worked either in the Emergency Department or Intensive Care Unit (Cardiac, Neuro, General, Trauma), except for a year working for an Urgent Care.   Eventually, I wanted something different.  Another school nurse recommended that I try substituting for Mesa Schools to see if it was something I would like.  I did! It was wonderful to work with perky children.   In 1996, a position opened up at Jefferson and I have been there since. In the 2008 year, I joined the team at Stevenson, too. In 2004, I did take time off to get a Masters in Education from Northern Arizona University.

My husband and I have two lovely girls, now grown.  We like cats and have two of them.  I like walking, reading, knitting, cross-stitch and watching the Cardinals – especially when they win!
