Community Outreach Opportunities
Every pet deserves a good life!
The Arizona Humane Society rescues, heals, adopts, and advocates for sick, injured, and abused animals.
During the month of October we are collecting treats for dogs and cats. We are also collecting packages of hot dogs to be used for administering medication to animals.
Toys have an amazing way of making kids smile, distracting them during unpleasant times, and helping them look past their pain. That's why Banner Health hospitals created toy closets stocked with new, unused toys for pediatric patients of all ages.
The toy closets at Cardon Children's Medical Center are low on stuffed animals, so during the month of October we will be collecting NEW, UNUSED stuffed animals to brighten the day of children in the hospital.
Hope starts with food!
Feed My Starving Children is a non-profit organization committed to feeding the world's malnourished children with a hand-packaged meal that costs about $0.25 per meal. The meal consists of rice, soy, vegetables, and vitamin flavoring.
Throughout the school year, we will be collecting spare change to purchase meals for children living in third-world countries. FMSC has sent food packs to nearly 70 countries around the world including Haiti, Cambodia, Sri Lanka, and many, many more.
