1.  Order forms for the band polo that we wear as part of our uniform went home with the students on either Monday or Tuesday depending on the class.  The uniform is $10 in either cash or check made out to the Summit Academy Music Club.  I need the forms back by Friday regardless if the student has the money to pay for it yet.  I need to order the right number of sizes ASAP, email me if you need an order form at bcwilson@mpsaz.org.  

2.  Students in band have homework EVERY NIGHT.  They should only practice on the days they intend to eat ;)  Consistent practice reaps the most success and progress in their playing.  I recommend no less than 30 min per night.  I do understand that 30 min might be difficult sometimes, and they might not be able to do it at all on occasion due to circumstances.  Please help them obtain this goal as much as you can.  It may come down to setting goals with them as well as talking to them about time management.  Some suggestions may be have them select a specific time that they will allot for their practice, then help them hold to that.

3.  By now every student should have ALL their materials for class.  Some of the materials that they might not be prepared with right now are a 3 ring binder, and the method book for their specific class.
