HERE COMES THE JOG-A-THON!

On Friday November 4th, our 4th-8th grade music students will participate in our annual Jog-A-Thon.  Information on the Jog-A-Thon, as well as the donation/pledge sheet was sent home between October 26-28 depending on the class.

We always appreciate the enthusiastic support we receive from students, parents and our community with respect to the various school projects we undertake as a Music Department. This year we will be holding a Jog-a-thon as our primary fundraiser. The proceeds from this event will help us fund music scholarships, hire clinicians and accompanists, and purchase equipment, music and supplies that we need to maintain our quality music program.

Your son or daughter has received a pledge form that should be used to record pledges or donations from family members, relatives and friends.  Orders can even be taken at your place of business.  PLEASE . . . NO DOOR-TO-DOOR SOLICITING by students!

The 4th-6th grade Jog-A-Thon will start at 2:40 and run until 3:40pm.

The 7th-8th grade Jog-A-Thon will start at 4:00 and run until 5:00pm.

We will need a handfull of parent volunteers for the 2:40 Jog-A-Thon and the 4:00 Jog-A-Thon.  This will entail filling cups of water, marking the student lap cards, and being a great cheerleader for our wonderful students!

If you are interested in helping out, LMK ASAP.  You should plan to arrive at 2:30 for the 1st Jog-A-Thon, and about 3:45 for the second.
