M.A. in Educational Research and Psychology from the

Ph.D. in School Psychology from the

I began my professional career working in rural Oklahoma schools as a School Psychometrist from 1979 to 1982.  After several years as a homemaker and a student, I was employed as a School Psychologist in Greeley, CO in 1988 and continued there until moving to Mesa in 2001.  I have worked in Mesa schools from 2001 to the present.

My primary responsibility is to coordinate the process of evaluating students for special education.  I am also available to assist teachers and parents when students are having difficulties at school.  My goal is to help ensure that every student has a successful experience at school.

Outside of work, I have two daughters, a son-in-law, and a grandson who bring me great joy.  My interests include politics, hiking, and reading.

Please call me if you have questions about the special education process at our school.
