PBIS at Superstition!
BE RESPECTFUL, BE RESPONSIBLE, BE SAFE
Superstition will be implementing Positive Behavioral Intervention and Supports starting with the 2015-16 school year. The main focus of PBIS is to provide a clear system for all expected behavior. Through PBIS, we will work to create and maintain a safe and respectful environment in which all school community members have clear expectations and understanding of their role in the educational process. PBIS is a proactive approach to school-wide discipline.
You have recieved your child's AzMERIT family score reports, which indicated how students are doing on the path to success. Since these are the first-ever AzMERIT results from assessments taken in Spring 2015, your child's scores will be different than they were on AIMS and may be lower than anticipated. These results give us important information we can use along with your child's grades, homework and class participation to understand how he or she is meeting higher expectaions. Please visit mpsaz.org/azmerit to learn more about AzMERIT, find valuable resources and helpful links, and watch a video that will help you better understand your child's AzMERIT results.
