Welcome Bulldogs to the 2016-17 School Year!

                                                              Mission Possible!

I am starting my third year as principal at Superstition and I am very pleased with the progress we have made to improve our program at Superstition for all students.  We offer a success and choice program where students from diverse backgrounds can attend and be a part of a welcoming and caring community while earning credits and improving their behaviors.  Transforming lives and changing futures is our motto!  It truly encompasses our vision as we continue to create success for all students.

This year our school-wide theme is "Mission Possible".  This theme was selected because it reinforces our commitment to our mission of success for all students.  The staff at Superstition is here to help you achieve your mission of graduating from high school and going on to a productive future.  If you choose to accept the mission success will be yours!

There are also some exciting changes coming this year to our program.  This year we are offering art classes.  Mr. Harold Smith is joining our staff from Westwood High School as our part-time art teacher.  We are also offering a service learning elective class taught by Mrs. Julie Svoboda.  All of our clubs on campus will incorporate service learning projects throughout the year.  This year we will to continue to serve our community and expand opportunities for our students by bringing the community to them with the Ambassadors of Compassion Program.

We look forward to a very productive and exciting year and wish you all the best for the 2016-17 school year!

Respectfully,

Mrs. Gomez-Napier

Principal, Superstition High School
