Mesa Public Schools students develop ECAPs (Educational Career Action Plans) in accordance with State Board Rule #R7 2-302.5. An ECAP reflects students' current plan of coursework, career aspirations and extended learning opportunities. The ECAP helps students personalize their education, and enables them to maximize the opportunities available upon high school graduation. Kindergarten through 12th grade students now engage in ECAP related lessons and programs as part of the MPS College and Career Readiness Sequence.
Students transferring to us from other MPS schools will be able to continue building upon the ECAP started at their old school. For students that come to us from a non MPS or Non Navigator school will be able to still complete their prior to graduation.
Developing an ECAP is a state graduation requirement.
