Mr. Brad McGee
Gifted and Talented Teacher for Taft, Brinton, Jefferson, Patterson, Sousa, and Stevenson 3rd and 4th Grades

This is my 22nd year teaching for Mesa Public Schools.  I taught 3rd, 4th and 5th grades in the regular classroom before becoming a Gifted teacher.  This will be my twelfth year teaching the Gifted and Talented Program.  The schools that I service are Taft, Brinton, Jefferson, Patterson, Sousa, and Stevenson.  I am based at Taft Elementary in Room 25.

I earned my Bachelor's degree from Ottawa University.  I have endorsements in Gifted education, Structured English Immersion, English as a Second Language and Reading.

My hobby outside of school is restoring VW buses.  If you see one in the parking lot, it is probably mine.

I have three young adult children. My eldest son graduated from NAU and lives in Oregon. My middle son graduated from MCC with a degree in Fire Science and is a firefighter in Phoenix.  My youngest daughter is a banker and attends MCC at night. All of them have been in accelerated or Gifted classes. My wife also teaches for Mesa in the Gifted Department.  Education is an important part of our family.
