My name is Danielle Pardon and I'm very excited to be at Taylor for the 2017-2018 school year! I am an Arizona native born and raised in Mesa, AZ. I am a product of Mesa Public Schools attending Rhodes Jr. High and Dobson High School graduating in 2000. My post-secondary education began at Mesa Community College where I earned an associates's degree. I then transferred to Arizona State University (Go Sun Devils) where I graduated with a bachelor's degree in special education. While working in college I was an instructional assistant in the MPS school district. After graduation I began my teaching career at my old stomping grounds, Dobson High School where I stayed for 6 years. I then continued my education and began my work on a master's degree in educational leadership graduating in 2015. Looking for leadership opportunities; I accepted a district leadership position in a nearby school district where I stayed for 3 years supporting schools and new special education teachers. Missing the school environment and daily contact with students, I returned to the classroom this year.
On a personal note, I'm married to my college sweetheart and we have have three sons. I am also working on another master's in special education. I consider myself to be a lifelong learner and have an extreme passion for education. In my spare time I enjoy quality time with my family, reading, and running.
Please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions. I look forward to working with my students and their families this year!
