Skill Camps - currently not in season

  • These are open to any player who does not make the competitive team or would like to improve on basic sport specific skills, fundamentals, and game knowledge.
  • A t-shirt will be provided for each camp participant (one per year).
  • The same paperwork must be completed to participate in Skill Camps as with competitive teams, with the turn in due the first Friday of practices.
  • These camps will offer an elongated amount of practice prior to game competition with an emphasis on the fundamental aspects for 4-5 weeks leading up to game play (possibly modified) against other schools offering the same opportunities for the players.
  • These sports may or may not use the same equipment as the competitive teams to achieve the level of skills and fundamentals needed to provide a good foundation and understanding for the players.
  • All players must be at school for a minimum of 6 of the 8 school hours to be eligible to play.
  • These camps will begin the second week following the competitive tryouts.
  • Grades will not be checked for participation in Skill Camps.
  • These camps will meet a minimum of 2 days a week.
  • All competitive sports will not be offered as Skill Camps.
  • The cost for Skill Camp will be $55.
