Title I - Private Schools
Section 1117(a)(3), ESSA, requires each participating public school district to
provide eligible K-8 grade Private School children who live in an elementary and junior high Title I school boundary, but choose to attend a Private School, services for academically at-risk students equitable to those provided to the public school children. The services are direct assistance to the eligible students only.
