Traffic Safety is a multi-phase program consisting of classroom driver education instruction, simulator instruction, and optional on-street behind-the-wheel instruction. The Driver Education course is a one-semester course offered at all Mesa Public Schools' comprehensive high school campuses. The course focuses on the development of knowledge skills and attitudes necessary for performing as a competent vehicle operator and highway user.
