What if my child needs to leave early but I cannot come get him/her?
Parent or guardian may request that their student be picked up by another adult (over the age of 18). Please call 472-4121 at least 30 minutes prior to the desired release time. the person picking up the student must show ID and match the name given to the attendance clerk/office staff. The student will not be released without prior notification from the legal parent/guardian, even if the person is listed as an emergency contact.
Students learn responsibility by being present and on time to school each day. Please make sure your child arrives on time. Students who are tardy miss important directions, start the day behind in their work, interrupt the learning process of others, and establish poor habits for adulthood.
Since it is sometimes difficult for parents to know what happens between home and school, parents of students who are chronically tardy will be contacted by the school administration.
