Covid19 School Closure

Hello Fabulous Fourth-Grade Families! I  miss you all and I can't wait until school resumes so we can be together once more! PLEASE contact me if you need ANYTHING. Use Class Dojo, email, Google Classroom or call my classroom phone (messages come to me in the form of emails).

Due to school being out during our nationwide pandemic, I have updated resources families can use at home to continue learning. Resources will be updated as I go! Please look for the link on the left that says "Learn from Home" or CLICK HERE!

HERE are some more learning resources families can use at home!

Also, please check out district resources for dealing with the closure and the pandemic as well! HERE

HERE are some resources from our counseling department for students to cope with COVID-19 stress. I encourage you to take a look!

Food and Nutrition will still be providing meal service to our communities at some elementary and junior high schools from 9:00-11:00 , Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.  Rhodes Junior High is the closest location to our school. Click HERE for a list of all sites that are providing this service.

Your children will need to be with you for the meals to be provided. This is per STATE mandate.

Stay safe and healthy and please email me to check in!

I was born and raised in Mesa, Arizona and am a proud product of Mesa Public Schools! I attended both Keller and Holmes Elementary as well as Mesa Junior High and Mesa High School (Go Jackrabbits!). I feel blessed that I am able to work for the district in which I grew up! In 2006 I graduated with honors from Ottawa University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Elementary Education. I hold endorsements in both Structure English Immersion and Early Childhood Education. The 2020-2021 school year will be my 14th year of teaching! I have been fortunate enough to have worked in several different grade levels in the Mesa Public Schools district. I have previously taught 5th grade, Kindergarten, 1st grade, and 2nd grade. This will be my first year teaching 6th grade science and writing! I have high expectations for my students, but we have a lot of fun meeting those challenges! [More...]
