I graduated from Excelsior College with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, and from Arizona State University with a Master of Counseling.
This is my 12th year with Mesa Public Schools: I was a school counselor at Taylor Jr. High for 3 years before starting the fun and exciting path as an elementary school counselor for Porter and Washington Elementary Schools.
This year will be my ninth year as an elementary school counselor and my first year as a full-time school counselor for Washington Elementary. I am so happy and proud to be at a great A+ school!!
I support students, parents, teachers, and administrators by providing classroom lessons that promote social and emotional learning, skills in problem solving, goal setting, self-esteem, and educational decision-making. I also provide responsive student support through individual and group counseling. My goal is to help children succeed in school and in life!
If there is anything I can do to help your child be successful, please contact me through email, phone, or stop by the counseling office.
