Summer Meal Program
Learning and good nutrition does not end when school lets out.  The Food and Nutrition Department is proud to sponsor the USDA Summer Food Service Program at Webster Elementary School.  Breakfast and lunch will be available to all children 18 years and younger from the end of May thru June ,  Monday thru Thursday.  Breakfast is served 7:30am to 8:30am and lunch 11:30am to 12:30pm.  For more information visit our website at www.mpsaz.org/food or call 480-472-0909.

ECA Donations and Tax Credit Information
ECA (extracurricular activities) donations are an important part of Webster's funding.  ECA funds help to pay for things such as field trips, after school clubs, and performing arts like band and orchestra.  Even better, you can claim the amount you have donated, up to $200 per person or $400 per couple, on your income taxes as a tax credit.  That means you will get back dollar for dollar what you have donated.  Click on the links below to find out more information on how to donate to your school or for tax credit forms.

What do I need to do if my child is ill or otherwise cannot attend school?
Call the Webster Attendance Clerk at 480-472-4851 (this number is available 24 hours a day), and report the absence with the following details:

  • Child's name
  • Teacher's name
  • Room number
  • Reason for absence

How do I find out information about school lunches?
Mesa Public Schools has a very nutritious and affordable lunch program.

What prevention measures does Webster have in place to guard my child's safety?
At Webster, all visitors must wear a badge which they are provided when they go to the main office to sign in.  Anyone on campus not recognized as staff or not wearing a visitor badge will be escorted to the front office by school personnel.

Webster has regular fire, lockdown and evacuation drills to help students and staff be more prepared in the case of an actual  emergency.

How may I contact my child's teacher?
All of the teacher's classroom phone numbers may be found by clicking on Staff on the Webster home page.  Teachers are available for phone calls before school and after school hours.  During regular school hours you may leave a voice-mail, and the teacher will return your call when the school day is over.  Calls are not permitted into the classrooms during times of instruction.

How can I become a volunteer at Webster?
Webster is always in need of volunteers.  Ask your child's teacher or the front office staff about volunteer opportunities.  Remember to always sign in and out in the office and wear a nametag or visitor badge at all times.
