Webster Elementary School
Mesa Public Schools
This year we are beginning implementation of PBIS (Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports). This is a schoolwide system that focuses on clear identification/communication of expectations, and recognition of students making positive choices. At Webster, we work to promote a school community whose members are safe, responsible and respectful. This model is based in behavioral research and has proven to have a positive impact on academics and behaviors.
Throughout this year, the PBIS Team will be asking students, staff, and our community for information and feedback. We want your input!
What are the Outcomes of PBIS?
Decreased classroom disruptions and office discipline referrals
Increased academic achievement and performance
Improved school climate and safety
