Biography

2012-2013 marks my fifth year as principal at Webster Elementary. I am proud to be involved with educating children - one of the most meaningful and rewarding jobs in the world. I grew up in Lawrence, Kansas and received a bachelor's degree from the University of Kansas - GO JAYHAWKS! In 1989, I began teaching in Casa Grande. A few years later, I started teaching in Chandler, then moved to Mesa in '99. In 2001, I earned a Masters Degree in Elementary Education, and in 2005, earned a Principal's Certificate - both from NAU. I spent three years as an assistant principal at Lowell Elementary and Hawthorne Elementary in Mesa, then began as  principal at Webster in 2008. I enjoy good friends, good food, music, beaches, mountains, outdoor- activities and spending time with my two children. I am grateful to be associated with the high quality staff and caring community of Webster where we promote "learning for all, whatever it takes!"
