Biography

My name is Janet Coombs.  I was born and raised in Mesa.  I attended Mesa Public Schools from Kindergarten through high school.

I graduated from college with a B.A. in 1979, and later decided I wanted to be a teacher.  I returned to college for an additional year, including summer school, to take the classes I needed to get my teaching certificate.

This is my seventh year teaching Kindergarten at Webster.  For the first three years I had a morning class and an afternoon class.  This is my fourth year teaching full day Kindertgarten.  I enjoy Kindergarten very much and hope to remain here until I retire.
