                                        Welcome to Room 19!  

My name is Susan Kennedy. This will be my 10th year teaching and my 9th year at Webster Elementary.  I love teaching 3rd grade!  This is an exciting year as your child will transition from primary to intermediate grades.  I set high expectations for all of my students and challenge all students to reach their highest potential.  Watching students succeed is very exciting and rewarding.  

I grew up in the beautiful state of Alaska.  After high school, I attended the University of Arizona (Go Wildcats!), where I received my BA.  I received my Masters in Education with a school counseling certificate from the University of Phoenix.  I am a life-long learner and continue to take every opportunity to further my education through classes and workshops.  I have 2 amazing, energetic teenagers of my own.  In my spare time, I enjoy reading, running, and outdoor activities. 

I feel very fortunate to be able to teach at this wonderful school, where the staff is very supportive and the students are eager to learn.
