ALEAD Academy – Arizona Chapter of FBI National Academy Associates
Grade: Current 10^th or 11^th grade
Dates & Location: June 3 – 8, 2012 on NAU campus
Deadline: April 15, 2012
Free leadership development program promoting physical fitness and interaction with peers. Schedule is demanding running from 7am until 9pm daily. More information on website at www.azfbinaa.org. 

Mayors Youth Comittee
Grade: Current Sophomores and Juniors

MYC is a year-long program where students attend monthly meetings, participate in community service opportunities, tour city departments and projects, and research current city issues.  The students will interact with the Mayor, City Council and staff on a regular basis to learn the ins and outs of city government. 

Students that are interested can come to counseling and pick up an application. There will be 30 applications since only 4 students can be selected.  Applications will be due in to counseling by 3:30pm on Wednesday, April 25^th. The application is simple but does require a 1 page personal statement.
