There will be a softball camp after school for girls interested in trying out for all levels of softball. It will be daily from Tuesday January 16th to Friday February 2 from 3:00-5:00 on the JV and Varsity fields. We will be working on basic softball skills so dress appropriately. If you have any questions contact Coach Baker in P 66. Tryouts will begin Monday February 5 after school.
Spring is in the air. It is almost time for Baseball season. Anyone interested in playing baseball this year must attend a mandatory parent meeting Thursday January 25th. Information about tryouts and the upcoming season will be covered. The meeting will be held in the cafeteria at 6:30 p.m. If you have questions see Coach Langston.
ALL Seniors should complete a FAFSA. This Free Application for Federal Student Aid determines your eligibility for FREE MONEY for college. We will be hosting an evening workshop for seniors and their parents to get help in completing the application on Thursday, January 25th. Don't miss out on this opportunity. Our varsity cheer All-Girl Stunt group competes this Saturday at the state championship at Chase Field at 10am. Students are $5 with an ID. Come support your warrior cheerleaders and wear orange! Good luck to Melanie, Emily, Savanna, Hannah and Macy!
Hello Warriors, Anime club will be meeting today for our first meeting of the semester after school in Mr. Nosko's room, room 413.
Congratulations to the Lady Warriors Basketball team for sweeping the Mesa Jackrabbits this past Tuesday. Freshman won 44-18, JV won 61-38 and Varsity took the W 66-61. The win was fueled by Maggie Makil who led all scorers with 24 followed by Mariana Porter with 15 and Tiffany Eriacho with 11. This extends the Lady Warriors overall record to 13-6 and their sectional record to 4-1. Come show your support when the Lady Warriors take on Red Mountain in the battle for 1st place on Friday night starting at 4 p.m here at home. Great job, ladies!
