Tickets are on sale now for the spectacular stage production of "Much Ado about Nothing." Performance dates are April 9, 10 and 11 at 7:00 pm. Pre-sale tickets are only $5 and are available in the bookstore.

Congratulations to Westwood's Academic Decathlon for placing 3rd overall at the State Competition and 1st place in the Super Quiz. Special recognition goes out to Nathan Bergman for placing 2nd overall in the competition and taking a gold medal in Math with a perfect score, silver medals in economics, social science, music, language and literature, and a bronze in science. Congrats to Jessica Yan for taking a gold medal in language and literature, silver in the speech event, and a bronze in math. Way to go Anthony Ordaz for placing 2nd in the varsity division and winning a gold in science, silver in economics and social science, and a bronze in language an literature. Congrats Shea Salem for placing 3rd in the varsity division and earning gold in econ, silver in music and science, and bronze in social science.

When was the last time you played with Legos? Mesa Public Library and Westwood's Community Library are bringing Lego Mindstorms to our library on Tuesday, March 31st from 4-7pm. Sign-up in the Library if you are interested in a fun and challenging evening of putting together and programming these fun robotics. No experience is necessary to do this!! Lego Mindstorms are Legos and robotics combined. So sign-up in the library and show up on Tuesday at the Westwood Library!!
Mesa Mayor John Giles announced the selection process for the 2015-16 City of Mesa Mayor's Youth Committee. This program is for high school juniors and seniors who want to learn about city government. Students will interact with city officials, participate in meetings and service opportunities, and research issues. The Career Center has more information and application forms.
