Come join Hands Up American Sign Language club to learn about ASL and deaf culture. We meet every Tuesday right after school in room 312. New members are always welcome! 

 

Attention all graduating seniors who will be attending a university or career school, and military. A Senior Hall of Fame is created in the Westwood High School academic hallway. Every senior with a commitment to attend a university or career school, and military go to Westwood Advisement web page and complete the on-line form.

 

"ASU Summer Courses:  Earn college credit for a variety of classes during ASU’s Summer Collegiate Academy June 1 – July 3.  Explore majors and complete a capstone project to research careers and set goals.  Tuition is reduced through scholarship support.  Apply by April 27.  The Career Center has a list of classes and more information.

 

Buy your tickets in the bookstore for "Much Ado about Nothing" and save $2.00.  This raucous comedy is set in the jazz age and features fun music and dancing.  Performances are Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 7:00 pm in the Westwood Auditorium.  Tickets are $5.00 pre-sale and $7.00 at the door.  Don't miss the show everyone will be talking about.

Do you want to experience something new and unique? Then come to the Latino Club dance on Friday, April 17 in the cafeteria. Enjoy latin music and take a souvenir "Carnaval" photo.

Greetings from Earth, your on-campus environmental club.  Please join us April 21-24th for our annual Earth Week celebration.  Please help us to care for our campus and our planet by reducing your consumption this week.  Bring a reusable water bottle instead of buying a new one each day and if you must use one, please recycle it in our new recycling barrels.  Join us for games, trivia, t-shirt sales, and fun on the quad during Earth Week.  Go orange, blue, and GREEN!

 

Word! Poetry workshops are collaborative and constructive gatherings of writers, both beginning and experienced, who want to experiment with the writing styles and performance techniques of modern poetry.  Please join us every Monday after school in room 206 for an innovative gathering of writers.  No experience necessary - See you there!

 

The Arizona Private School Association announced its $1000 scholarship open to graduating Arizona high school seniors.  This opportunity is an avenue for assistance to attend a post- secondary trade or career training institute in programs ranging from technical certificates to college degrees has an April 30 application deadline.  The Career Center has more information.

Collegiate Scholars Program – ASU Fulton Education: Future Sun Devils:  Have you thought about jump-starting your college experience while still in high school?  Now you can through the ASU Collegiate Scholars Program.  Earn 3 college credits for completing TEL 111 Exploration of Education to fulfill a general studies requirement in the Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College.  Tuition is reduced through scholarship support of ASU, and the Career Center has more details.
