Wanting to get your learner's permit? If you are a high school student you can get it here at Westwood High School. The permit seminar for October will be on October 22nd, 2014 (Wednesday) from 4 pm until 7 pm. If you would like more information please see the bookstore or Mr. Brown in Room 112.

There will be a girls soccer meeting October 23rd in room P60. If you are interested in playing, check with Ms. Hathaway in the office to get your information for your physical! You need a physical before you can play!

Hoka Hey Warriors! This wrestling season is fast coming with official practice starting November 3rd. Those wishing to continue the winning tradition, be sure to have physicals and brainbook on file with the front office and be ready to tear it up on Nov 3rd.

Tickets are on sale now for the drama club production of "The Curious Savage." Tickets are only $5 for students if you get them early. The show is Nov. 6, 7 & 8 at 7:00 pm. don't miss this fun comedy about money and greed. Buy your tickets in the bookstore today!

If you are interested in playing Boys Basketball and competing at the highest level in the state, you must come to Room 306 for a meeting after school on Wednesday, October 22nd at 3:10pm. We will go over eligibility requirements and the details of preparing for tryouts. If you cannot make the meeting, you must contact Coach Long in Room 402 or Coach Powell in Room 306 to ensure you have everything you need for tryouts.

All Native American Students. There will be a special Assembly in the main auditorium tomorrow during Warrior Time. Come by Room P66 today and see Mrs. Clinton or Mr. Hill to get your warrior time pass.

Attention all boys interested in playing soccer this season: Tryouts will begin November 3rd and run through November 7th. You must be passing all of your classes and have turned in all required paperwork. If you have any questions about what you need to turn in, please see Ms. Hathaway in the front office or Coach Hoerber in Counseling.

This Thursday during Warrior Time, the Salt River Education Team will be on campus to visit with all Salt River Community Students. Come by room P66 Wednesday to get your Warrior Time pass. Come learn about the services available to you to help you find success. Once again we will meet during Warrior Time in the Amphi--Theater.

November is Native American Awareness Month. The Native American Club will help celebrate November by bringing you facts and interesting information about Native Americans during announcements. The celebration will also involve different activities throughout the month for all Westwood students. More Information will be shared next week. Show your Warrior Pride.

Seniors! Please disregard the orange senior shirt pre-order forms. The correct blue order forms will be re-distributed to your government and economics classes. If you don't have a government or economics class, you can pick up an order form in the bookstore. Order forms are due to the book store NO LATER THAN FRIDAY, OCTOBER 31st!
