Westwood High School will be submitting an Application to the state of Arizona for the 21st Community Learning Center Grant. The grant provides funds for a school to build and then sustain an out of school time program that provides high quality academic enrichment opportunities for all students. Programs include an academic, youth development and family engagement components. The application is due on May 1st.
On Wednesday, March 11, 2015 school will begin at 8:00 a.m. with no A hour. Students will follow a quarterly testing schedule listed below:

The Prestigious Westwood International Baccalaureate (IB) Program is now accepting applications for the the 2015-2016 school year. If you have a current 8th grader who is interested in seeking enrollment in Mesa's leading College Prep Program, application materials are available online at http://www.mpsaz.org/westwood/academics/ib/apply/.
Applications are due to the Westwood IB office by this email@example.com be considered in the initial application review process. All applicants who submit an application after this date will be considered for enrollment in the future should a seat become available. Incomplete applications will not be considered. Mesa Public Schools launched a new app for iPhone and Android devices on January 22. The app brings district and school information to parents' fingertips, and makes communication a snap.
Special features allow parents to customize the information they receive from their child's school. They are able to access accounts, call in a child's absence, stay afloat with district and school news, and link the school calendar to their personal calendar. District social media is quickly accessible with instant convenience to Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Instagram pages. One touch and a parent can stay up-to-date with all of the district happenings.
The Mesa Public Schools' app is available for free download through Google Play for Android users and the App Store for iPhone/iPad users.
