I am an Arizona State University Sun Devil through and through. I completed my undergraduate degree at ASU in Kinesiology with a focus in exercise science and bio-mechanics. During my time at ASU I was a student athlete competing at a national level for the ASU Men's Lacrosse team. As if being a student athlete wasn't busy enough I began preparing for physical therapy school by working at a physical therapy clinics across the east valley. I continued to take science classes at ASU, and this where I found my love for teaching.
My love for teaching spurred me to take my education path in a different direction towards getting my Masters of Education from ASU. During my masters program I completed a fall internship student teaching here at Westwood. At that point I knew I needed to become a Westwood Warrior, and here I am in my 6th year. I love the subjects of Anatomy, Biology, and Sports Medicine. For the 2020-2021 school year i will continue to teaching in the CTE program of Prevention and Care for Sports Injuries, and will be joining the IB family in the MYP program teaching Biology.

Bella has completed her evaluation and is now a registered Therapy dog through petpartners.org. She will be joining students in the classroom at Westwood very soon a couple days a week.
