Welcome to my page! I am entering my third year of teaching, and my 7th year of working for Mesa Public Schools. I myself am a graduate of Mesa Public Schools (Red Mountain class of 2007) and I am proud to be part of Westwood's team.

I was born in Memphis, Tennessee but moved to Arizona when I was 13. So I have lived in AZ half of my life! When the weather isn't so hot, I love to go hiking. I love traveling, listening to podcasts, reading, and being with friends and family (including my pets!).

My goal as a teacher is to help students identify and execute their own personal post-secondary goals, whatever they may be. In my classes students will explore different career and educational paths as well as begin to learn the skills necessary to reach their goals. It is very important that students leave high school with a sense of self-determination and independence.
