Hello! My name is Karl Hermann and I have been actively working in music education in Arizona since 1992. I enjoy seeing students succeed in life as they are succeeding in music. I am always learning something new about music, and I am passionate about giving that knowledge to my students. I also enjoy spending time with my beautiful wife and family.
I am an Arizona native and completed my Bachelor's in Music Education through Arizona State University. I knew I wanted to teach when I was a high school student. I started as a volunteer assistant right after graduating high school. I worked as the drumline instructor for Mt Pointe HS. Through the years I continued at various schools working with marching band and drumline. While at ASU, I learned to play many other instruments as well. I recently completed my Masters Degree online through NAU.
I look forward to the opportunities that Westwood will bring, and I look forward to enriching the lives of students through music!
