Biography
I was born and raised in Mesa, AZ, graduated from Westwood HS in 1980, and have taught mathematics here since 1989. Therefore, I can truly say "my blood runs deep orange". I earned my bachelor's degree from BYU and my master's degree from ASU. I love Westwood, its traditions, its divergent cultures, its caring students and staff. I also love teaching mathematics to students, helping them see patterns and creating models to solve problems. In addition to teaching, I co-sponsor the Math Club here at Westwood. It is a privilege to see students shine as leaders and scholars through these programs.
