Biography

I was born in Memphis, Tennessee and spent most of my early childhood there along with summers at my grandparents' house in Mississippi. I graduated from Peoria (AZ) High School. I have two Bachelor degrees from Arizona State University and a Master's Degree in Education from California State University.

I am a bit of a traveler  and I have lived in Asia and Europe. My fondest memories are doing Shakespeare in a castle in Germany, almost being killed for real by an old demented Scotsman during a Napoleonic reenactment in England, and being chased out of the water by a shark in the Philippines.

I am an Army veteran and a history reenactor. Some of the time periods I have done impressions are: Imperial Romans, French Napoleonic, American Revolution, War of 1812, American Civil War, Spanish-American War, Wild West, and World War II.

I am currently a History Teacher with 30 years of experience. I try to integrate my historical impressions and travel experiences into my lessons.

THE BEST HISTORY IS WHEREIN PEOPLE CAN LIVE IT!
