Biography
Hello! My name is Stacey Brown and I am so excited for this school year to begin! This will be my 7th year teaching (my third year at Westwood). I am originally from Stuttgart, Germany but I spent the majority of my childhood outside of Philadelphia, PA. I came out to Arizona to attend Arizona State where I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Secondary History Education. Aside from studying traditional historical topics, I am passionate about genealogy. Connecting historical events to your own ancestors experiences makes history more personal.
I love spending time with my three kids. Some of our favorite activities are swimming, hiking and traveling.My favorite vacation spot is anywhere that has good food and a beach. Some of my other obsessions include Disneyland, the Philadelphia Eagles and sushi.
