Biography

Hello!  My name is Tera Geyer and I am so excited to be a Westwood Warrior!

I grew up in Las Cruces, New Mexico where my family still lives today.  I attended New Mexico State University on Athletic and Academic Scholarships and graduated from NMSU with a Bachelors in Individualized Studies with minors in Mathematics, History and Astronomy.  I also received my Masters in Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona University.  I have been an educator in Arizona for the past fifteen years with twelve of those years teaching 8th Grade math, Honors Algebra I and Honors Geometry.  In addition to teaching, I love being active and have coached various sports with over 20 years coaching basketball.  I am married and have 4 kids who are attending either Arizona State University or Chandler Gilbert Community College.

I have a passion for educating students and helping them meet their fullest potential in and out of the classroom!  I am honored to become a part of this community and look forward to working with you this school year!

“Effort is one of those things that gives meaning to life.  Effort means you care about something that something is important to you and you are willing to work for it.”  – Carol Dweck
