Biography

Since 1993, I have had the pleasure of being a Westwood Warrior. I taught English until I became a counselor in 1998.  My passion is making college dreams come true, --especially for first generation college students like myself.  After graduating from Mountain View-(sorry), I attended ASU on an academic scholarship where I earned a Bachelors and later two Masters Degrees.  My areas of specialization are education, counseling, English, ESL, Reading, and Spanish.  I consider myself a "triathlete"--I am the mother of two children, I have a career and I run marathons--a lot of them!! When I am not busy with any of that--I teach the infamous "spin class" at Westwood or travel throughout South America.
