2019-2020
Bell Schedule
As you are aware, Mesa Public Schools has been dealing with a critical bus driver shortage. After careful consideration and reviewing community input, the district we will be moving to a tiered school start-and-end time schedule to maximize driver and route efficiencies.
Starting Tuesday, August 6, Westwood High School will have the following bell schedule:
-
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 8:15 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.
-
Wednesday: 8:15 a.m. to 2:45 p.m.
As noted above, all district schools will follow a 30-minute early release Wednesday schedule. Additional early release day times, such as end of quarter days, will be available on the school calendar.
Office hours and activities outside the school day will be adjusted accordingly.
Bus routes have not been eliminated. If your child rides the bus, look for information about their new pickup and drop-off times with your back-to-school information.
