Welcome to 1st grade in room 608!
I am so excited for my first year of teaching at Whittier Elementary School. We are going to do so many fun things and of course we will learn a lot.
I earned my Bachelors Degree at the University of Phoenix. I have also worked in the Mesa School District for the past two years as a clerical aide and a classroom aide.
A few fun facts about me…
I am an Arizona native, raised in Safford and moved to Mesa 12 years ago. I am happily married to my husband Edward and we have six children, three girls and three boys, ranging in age from 7 to 17 years old. In our free time we love cheering on the Arizona Cardinals, camping, fishing, and hunting. Some of my favorite things are coffee, chocolate and rainy days.
I can’t wait to get to know your child this year!
The homework expectation for first grade is that homework should last 15-20 minutes each night. If you need additional help with homework click on the link. http://www.doyourhomeworkarizona.org/
If you were unable to attend Curriculum Night the PowerPoint presentation has been attached click here.
