Skinny looks around to make sure he is not being watched by Mr. Pratt, snatches the note from his pals grubby little fingers and cradles it nervously under his desk. He is very worried that he will be found out that he is passing notes because he knows the consequences are severe. Mr. Pratt begins his presentation of the weekly writing lesson and skinny seizes the opportunity to reveal the contents of the note to his anxious eyes. He times the opening of the folded note with the shuffling of papers from other students. He reads the scribbled letters and can decipher the the words and is suprised by what he reads. There are two boxes with little senteces beside each one. The first box reads: "Mr. Pratt is a chowder head" and the second box reads: "I hate this class." At the bottom of the note is says "pick one and pass it back."
Skinny chooses a box and passes it back
Skinny does nothing
