I was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. I graduated from Arizona State University in 1994 with my Special Education Degree and began teaching kids with Specific Learning Difficulties at a Phoenix elementary school. After my first year, I started teaching at Whittier Elementary School. I have stayed with the Wildcats since then (Wow, time flies!) and I feel that Whittier is my home away from home.
At Whittier, I teach Reading, Writing and Math to 4th through 6th grade students with learning challenges. I enjoy interacting with them in a smaller group setting. They make me smile every day.
