Welcome to Kinder U at Whittier Elementary School

My name is Teresita Krenytzky and I have been teaching for 17 years and this is my first year teaching for Whittier School.  I taught for five years at East Mesa Early Childhood Education Center and for seven years as an itinerant early childhood special education teacher and evaluate servicing the children at the Salt River Early Childhood Education Center.  I am very excited to be a part of Whittier staff and the Kinder U program.

I started school with Mesa Public Schools.  I attended Whittier Elementary, Carson Junior High and graduated from Westwood High School. My Bachelor's degree is in Elementary Education from Arizona State University with teaching certifications in Early Childhood Education and Early Childhood Special Education. My Master's degree is from Northern Arizona University in Early Childhood Special Education with an emphasis in Positive Behavior Support. I was a first and second grade teacher before finding my passion here, working with young children in early childhood.

I am from Mesa Arizona and Taos Pueblo in Northern New Mexico.  I was born in Mesa but spent most of my breaks and holidays in Taos Pueblo. I am a mother of three adult children and I am married to Scott Krenytzky. He is also a teacher in Mesa Public Schools. He teaches Elementary Art at five schools. I have coached Special Olympics Track for the last eleven years and I love it! I also enjoy running, hiking and crossfit.  I am very active in the community and enjoy staying busy.  It is a pleasure to serve children and my community every day! I am honored and delighted to be part of your children’s life. It is going to be a great year.

If you need to contact me at any time please do so at 480-472-4919 or via email at tjkrenytzky@mpsaz.org
