Why Should I Get Involved?

Parent volunteers offer a huge resource and support base for the school community while showing their kids the importance of participating in the larger community.

The school isn't the only one to reap the benefits of your involvement. By offering some of your time to the school, and by interacting with teachers, administrators, and other parents on a regular basis, you can gain a first-hand understanding of your child's daily activities and some insight into the trends and fads of school life that will help you communicate with your child as he or she grows and changes (all without intruding on your child's privacy or personal space).

We love our volunteers and appreciate your support!

If you are interested in volunteering in your child's classroom, we encourage you to get in contact with the teacher to find out what her needs are and to set up a schedule that works for you both.

In the front office we have volunteer packets to fill out and we'll provide you with a volunteer badge to be used when you are here on campus. All volunteers are required to sign in at the front office. All volunteers--except for parents and legal guardians--must be fingerprinted.  Please click here for more information from the district pertaining to people other than parents or legal guardians who wish to volunteer.

The PTO could use your help too! There are various activities throughout the school year put on by our wonderful Parent Teacher Organization (PTO). Without them, we would not have father/daughter, mother/son, mother/daughter, father/son events. They are a crucial element to our social activities and our fundraising.

Please get in contact with our PTO at wilsonpto@gmail.com to add your name to our list of volunteers.
