I received both my Bachelor of Arts and Masters of Educational Administration from the University of Northern Colorado. I was a classroom teacher from 1989-1998 in both Colorado and Arizona. In 1998 I was appointed as an Administrative Intern at Keller and Eisenhower Elementary Schools in Mesa. Beginning in July 2000, I became the Principal at Franklin South Elementary School. I then became principal at Ishikawa Elementary School for 14 years before being named the Principal at Wilson.  My husband, Russ, is also a principal in Mesa and our two daughters are educators in the area; Kristin is an assistant principal in Chandler and Kaity is an assistant principal in the Higley District.  Our son-in-law, James, is also a Mesa principal.  We are the very proud grandparents of three adorable babies, London, Sterling and Lennon. They have totally changed our lives!  We have three schnauzer puppies along with a darling little chihuahua. I am so excited to begin a new year of teaching and learning at Wilson, it is truly an amazing place and we feel very honored to work with you and your student as they pursue their educational goals.
