FIRST Lego League Tourney Day
Five teams participated in the annual Zaharis Practice Tournament for FIRST Lego League (FLL). They presented research that focused on a physical or social problem faced by humans during long duration space exploration. Part of that presentation included a potential solution for the specific problem they identified. In addition, teams took on a design challenge and explained how they have been living through FLL's Core Values that include: discovery, innovation, impact, inclusion, teamwork, and fun. Finally each team was able to test the programs they coded for their EV3 Robots against a field of obstacles. Thank you to all of the teachers and parents who volunteered their time to help judge the tournament, and a tremendous thank you to all of the parents who have spent countless hours preparing and coaching the teams. Good luck to TechnoCats, Order of Neptune, Guardians of the Galaxy, Z-Bots, and Eat My Space Dust in their regional tournaments!
