Our 100th day of school is coming up on January 23rd! We can’t wait to celebrate, and are excited to have the kids dress up as if they were 100 years old! This is your chance to be creative! Wigs, makeup, robes, canes, suspenders, anything to make these kiddos look like they are 100! We will be sending out more details as it gets closer, but wanted to give you a heads up to start checking out goodwill, digging in those closets, and checking out Pinterest! Don’t worry, Ms. Mercer, Mrs. Reichert, Mrs. Baldry, and Mrs. Wallo will be decked out too!

Meet Mrs. Leah Baldry!!
My Name is Leah Baldry. I am a student from Brigham Young University-Idaho. I am in my final semester of my Elementary Education degree. I have the wonderful opportunity of spending my last semester teaching and learning from your sweet children. I have been spending my first week getting to know your children’s fun personalities and their desire to learn and grow. In return they have also begun to learn a bit about me. So, I thought I would introduce myself to you as well.
Who am I,
I was born and raised in a small town in Southern Alberta, Canada. Growing up I loved to play sports, rugby was and still is my favorite one. I also enjoy outdoor activities like biking, hiking, and swimming. I have been a certified lifeguard and swim instructor for the past 7 years. I married Austin Baldry about 4 years ago,, he is also student teaching at Zaharis this semester. I enjoy singing and dancing (even though I’m not very good at either), and I love reading books, especially children’s books. I am currently reading Petey along side the class, and am in the middle of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.
I am thrilled to be here in Mesa and to take this journey alongside Mrs. Reichert and your dear children. I hope through my time here I will have the opportunity to meet most of you as we work together to help your child reach their learning potential.
