Snacks

In Kindergarten we eat our snack outside during our recess time each morning.

Snack Time Wish:

PLEASE NOTE THAT OUR CLASSROOM IS PEANUT FREE THIS YEAR

Your child will need to bring their own individual snack and a water bottle each day.  This is a great option for those with allergies or children that prefer a particular kind of snack each day!  It is proven that children who eat healthy snacks perform better in school. I will also keep a stash of snacks in the cupboard for children that forget a snack or on days when the kids need an extra snack. I really appreciate donations of cereal, bags of pretzels, cheese sticks, carrot sticks, graham crackers, etc. Any items to make a “trail mix” is great. I prefer not to set a schedule but instead have families send in an item when it works out best for you.  I will send home a note in our newsletter when the cupboard is bare!  

 
**No juice or soda please, only water.
