Free concerts for essential workers

The City of Mesa is hosting I Love Mesa Day on September 25, in partnership with Downtown Mesa Association. As part of the celebration, the City is presenting two free outdoor concerts — Michael Franti Trio and Young the Giant. District employees can obtain tickets for both concerts in advance. To obtain your free tickets, visit the Mesa Amphitheatre website and use the promo code ESSENTIALWORKER. Resilience Rescue virtual series, Sept. 7-Oct. 15

On-site flu shot clinics, Sept. 13-Oct. 1

The district is partnering with Albertsons/Safeway to provide on-site flu vaccination clinics. ALL employees are eligible for a free flu vaccination, regardless of medical coverage. Family members over 3 years old, who are covered under a district medical plan, are also eligible for a flu shot at no cost. Each family member must have a completed consent form. Please bring your medical insurance card (Cigna or other). Save time and bring the completed consent form with you. View the clinic schedule.

Franklin at Brimhall and Mesa Academy for Advanced Studies are among the top 15 elementary schools in Arizona, according to SchoolDigger.com. Franklin Junior High and Mesa Academy also made the top 15 middle schools list.
