Teacher Appreciation Week on DonorsChoose
DonorsChoose.org is celebrating Teacher Appreciation Week with two days of matched donations. SONIC Drive-In will match all donations 50% May 3, while Dollar General Literacy Foundation will match donations on book projects May 5. Learn more at DonorsChoose.org.

Did you know that public Governing Board meetings are livestreamed at mpsaz.org/live and then immediately posted to the district's YouTube? Don't have time to watch the whole meeting? No problem. Watch clips from individual agenda items by selecting the film reel icon within each agenda item on BoardDocs. This feature is typically available within two days of the meeting. Find all meeting agendas on the Governing Board website.

Learn more about Arizona Teachers Academy
Interested in becoming a teacher? Arizona Teachers Academy offers tuition coverage for eligible students who agree to teach in Arizona schools. Scholarship opportunities are available for the following: bachelor's and graduate degrees, post-baccalaureate certificate, National Board certification and dual-enrollment credential.
The scholarship program is currently available at Arizona State University, Northern Arizona University, University of Arizona, and Pima, Rio Salado and Scottsdale community colleges. Learn more on the Arizona Department of Education website.
