DANCE EDUCATION
The dance program in Mesa Public Schools is designed to provide interested students the opportunity to advance their understanding of the fundamentals of dance technique and composition. Students are instructed in ballet, modern, jazz and choreography. In addition specific classes are offered in a particular dance form; for example; hip hop. As a student’s ability increases, more advanced coursework is offered.
Depending on the interest and available resources, dance classes are offered in the junior and senior high schools.
