As an eligible district employee, you receive basic life insurance at No cost to you. The Basic Life insurance benefit amount is $50,000 for all full-time eligible employees. You will automatically be enrolled in this benefit [a beneficiary must be assigned upon enrollment].
If you have eligible dependents [spouse and children] they receive basic dependent life insurance coverage in the amount of $2,000 per covered dependent at no cost to the employee.
