Health Screenings by grade level

Vision for K, 1st, 3rd, and 5th  

 

Hearing test for K, 1st, 2nd, 6th grade

 

BP for 5th graders and scoliosis checks for 5th grade girls

 

New to the district students receive a vision and hearing screening.

 

 

Dental screenings are done on all students if there are programs available for students.

 

Second and sixth graders without insurance or who are on AHCCCS are eligible for free dental sealants.  Notices are sent home for parent permission. 

Give Kids a Smile is a yearly program sponsored by the AT STILL Dental School in which children without insurance are eligible for free dental care. 

 

 

 

Parents will be notified if the results of the screenings require referral or further attention.

 

If you would like your child to receive screenings which are not scheduled for that grade level, please contact the nurse or health assistant at 480-472-4084.
