Using the Internet: Search Engines
A search engine lets you search through the millions of bits of information on the Internet.
Google is probably the most well-known search engine, but there are many others including Bing, DuckDuckGo and Yahoo.
Some people think that when they use a search engine like Google, the information they get comes from Google. This is not correct. Google is just a tool to find websites. The websites provide the information, not Google. Google should never be cited as a resource.
